My, oh my, what a wonderful day

This morning when I woke up from a nap at 10:00 I felt very groggy. Little Ben had me up until after 3 AM and then up again at 7:00. But all the grogginess left me when I looked at my phone and saw an e-mail from our adoption coordinator Angela entitled "First Court Date!" I leapt out of bed with a "zip in my doodah" (a phrase your crazy daddy made up), grabbed Ben from his crib and ran upstairs to show Dave the e-mail. February 20th. This is the first of at least two court dates. If the case passes court on February 20th, then we will be assigned our court date when we will travel to Ethiopia for the first time. 

All day I will be singing...

Happy Birthday to you!

2 years old! How I wish we could throw a birthday party for you. I hope your caregivers and friends are celebrating you today. Praying that God sends you our love, hugs and kisses from across the globe. Your little brother has been carrying around a photo of you this afternoon, smothering you with kisses (and a little drool!). I promise your 3-year birthday party will be one to remember. Cannot wait for that day!!
